Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has found a solution to one of his biggest problems during the just concluded Premier League season according to the report from Football London.
Aubameyangfinished joint topscorer in the Premier League two seasons ago with fellow African stars Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane who both play for Merseyside giants Liverpool before finishing second behind topscorer Jamie Vardy of Leicester City last season. The Gunners attacker was far behind Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane who finished as the topscorer this season as he barely scored ten goals. To this effect, Mikel Arteta sought for a solution to the problem and he has found one via the report mentioned above.
It was revealed that Mikel Arteta has identified Norwich City playmaker Emiliano Buendia as the man to provide the chances for Aubameyangto score as from next season but the Gunners will have to secure his transfer from the Canaries who were promoted to the Premier League last month as English Championship winners.
The Gunners have already made two bids of £30m and £35m for Buendiabut face stiff competition from fellow English top flight side Aston Villa.
Buendia was the star player for the Canaries in the Championship after netting 15 goals and 16 assists in 39 appearances. He was named the Player of the Season at the end of the campaign.Buendia was also rewarded with an invitation to the Argentine national team after a stellar season.
